Original publisher's leaflet printed in green and red ink on light beige paper. No date, circa 1902. 3" x 5." One leaf of paper printed on front and back. Leaflet is very clean and intact except light age toning, slight wrinkling, a few tiny pinholes at the center, and a small bump along top edge. A Very Good copy. This is a promotional leaflet advertising the Farm Journal, a farming and agricultural magazine. It was founded in 1877 by a Quaker farmer named Wilmer Atkinson. This leaflet includes promotional text for the magazine and also doubles as a coupon. The terms of the coupon are that readers who mail in the coupon along with sixty cents will get a five-year subscription to the Farm Journal from 1902-1906 at a discounted rate of sixty cents instead of the original rate of seventy-five cents. The verso of the leaflet is an unfilled order form where prospective subscribers can write their name and address.. Ephemera. Book Condition: Very Good.
